For every teacher who has asked -

“After a long day of managing expectations - of parents, children, administrators -
how do I return to myself?”

“What does it mean to truly inspire, when I myself feel depleted?”

“Where does my responsibility as a teacher end, and where does the parent’s begin?”

“How am I able to listen to the unspoken language of the child?”

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Schools today ask everything of their teachers - warmth, authority, mental health awareness, academic rigour, emotional availability.
Yet very few programmes ask: who is holding the teacher?

SaptaSvara is not another skill-building workshop.

It is an inner, reflective journey rooted in Yoga Sutra, Vastu Shilpa Shastra, and Natya Shastra, that brings educators back to their own source, so that what they offer to the children comes from a place of genuine depth.

SaptaSvara is a framework designed by Sashikala Ananth and Raghu Ananthanarayanan that is a convergence of over four decades of serious study and practice. It is a set of seven values-in-action based on the energy of the Chakras that a harmonious and meaningful life is replete with.

They are:
Maitri - Valuing Trustworthiness
Karma - Locus of Action
Dharma - Responsibility for the Self-Context Simultaneity
Jnana - Knowledge that transforms the self
Ramya – Evocation, Aesthetics and Delight
Yoga - Mindfulness and Integration
Abhyasa - Practice & Perseverance

WHAT THIS EDITION BRINGS
- Embryology and fluid intelligence - wonder at human origins before any framework
- Navarasas as a body-map of emotional qualia, helping teachers hold what children (and they) carry
- Kaya Madhya Sutram (central axis) as a somatic anchor - to return to, amid demanding interactions
- Stories, theatre, art, music as the medium of reflection throughout
- A culminating 3–5 day residential Learning Theatre at Ritambhara Ashram, Kotagiri, to integrate the journey (The residential immersion fee is separate from the online programme fee and will be payable directly at the end of the programme.)
